Our House is Hot, and I don't mean temperature hot....

Can we say..Sold? We are hoping so!

 

Wow, It's been an exciting day, At 10:30 this morning I glanced at my phone and noticed that I missed a text message from our Realtor. It said " Hi Dana, exciting news, your house is hot! I have a showing scheduled with a Realtor from Coldwell Banker SSK today, actually two, one at 10:45 and one at 1:00 pm, and another at 5:30 tomorrow evening, if this is okay, text me back.

By this time, It's 10:30, and I'm thinking ...Umm..the first showing would be in 15 minutes! So I text her back asking when would be the latest? She responded ..11:00, and I'm like, Oh my, that's 30 minutes! We just got up, Chris is just getting in the shower..We have to get a move on, so we tidied up and left for the day.

The first couple looked at the house for over an hour, the second couple..about the same, tomorrow, who knows. Our Realtor thinks that we will land a contract this weekend, if so we will at the same moment write up a contract for our new house in Bonaire! We can't wait to have more space. The house that we live in now is the smallest home that I have lived in since 1998. This is crazy and we are all ready to move.

Our prospective new house has over 3000 sq.ft. , two living areas, a beautiful kitchen, five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, The South end of the house consist of only a master suite. Not just a master bedroom, but a huge suite. His and Hers closets, His and hers separate vanities a walk in shower with three shower heads, it's all so Amazing.

One of the best attributes about the home..besides the large yard and upscale neighborhood it that's it's located just about five miles from the Air Force Base where my husband works. It's a further drive for me to take our daughter to daycare and for me to drive to work, but it is all worth it!

Our new mortgage will cost a bit more than our current mortgage too, because we are more than doubling our square footage. I am more than willing to pay the difference. We can't wait...my husband also thinks that we will be making another baby as soon as we have more space...lol, poor thing, He has another thought coming...

Hot Summer Days...

  Today has been another scorching day! I love Summer time, I am a Sun worshiper ; however this is a bit ridiculous. It's even to hot to be at the Beach. Chris went to a Gun Show in South Georgia. He is an avid gun collector, he owns four hand guns currently. Speaking of my husband..he just arrived home. He said it was so hot, the Gun show was in some metal warehouse not air conditioned. Not a good thing in South Georgia.

Adicyn and I stayed home today. We ran a few errand earlier in the day, but mostly we have been home. She played outside for a while, now she is even inside.

I have managed to complete a lot of laundry, next will be reorganizing the pantry. I have been using coupons and stacking up on the sales at Kroger, Publix and Target. Only on things that my family actually uses of course. I enjoy using coupons and catching a good deal as much as the next person, but I am not going crazy like some of those crazy coupon and product hoarders that I have seen on TV lately. I think all of that is all so absurd.
